Marked your answers already? Hold off on celebrating or worrying. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has now released the provisional answer key for the Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer (ADPO) Examination 2026, and the clock on objections has started.
A provisional key is a first version. It can change if candidates raise valid objections. So use it to estimate your score, but do not treat it as final.

How to Read the Combined Key
The Commission has put all four sets into one table. Each row lists a question number under Set A, Set B, Set C and Set D, followed by one answer (A, B, C or D). The same answer applies to that question in whichever set you got.
1. Check the set printed on your question paper.
2. Find your question number in that set's column.
3. Read the answer in the ANS column of the same row.
4. Compare it with the option you marked.
Take an example. In the row where Set D shows 30, the answer given is C. A candidate with Set D would look up Q.30 in that column and read C.
Rules for Filing an Objection
The Commission has set clear conditions. Missing any one of them can cost you the objection.
• Objections must be filed online through the link on www.mppsc.mp.gov.in.
• The window is 5 days from the date the link becomes available on the website. The notice does not state a calendar date, so watch the website for the day the link goes live.
• The prescribed exam fee must be paid along with the objection. The notice does not state the amount.
• Each objection must come with proof. Give the name of the reference book, the author, the relevant page, the year of publication and the edition. Attaching the document is compulsory.
• No objection will be accepted after the 5 days are over.
• No letters or correspondence on this matter will be considered.
The notice covers objections to the answer key and also to any question or answer. So if you think a question itself is faulty, the same route applies.
Before You Object: A Simple Checklist
Not every disagreement is worth a fee. Ask yourself three things first.
• Can I point to a printed source, with a page number, that supports my answer?
• Does the source clearly contradict the key, or is it only open to another reading?
• Is the source a standard book or the Bare Act itself, not a coaching note or a website?
Since the Commission asks for the book, author, page, year and edition, a Bare Act or a standard textbook is the safest proof for law questions. Keep a clean copy of the page ready before you open the online form.
What to Do Next
Tally your marks as 3 for each correct answer and minus 1 for each wrong one, using the provisional key. That is the marking scheme reported for this paper. Then note the questions where you lost marks and the topic each belongs to.
Those notes are the start of your next study plan. A steady habit of PYQ practice and a regular Mock Test, along with Bare Act reading, is what turns near misses into correct answers in the next APO Exam.
