The commission has opened a short window, from 15 October to 20 October, for all candidates who appeared in the preliminary objective competitive examination for the post of Prosecution Officer. If you do not download your sheet by 20 October, the commission will not give you another chance.

The commission had already released the final answer key. The OMR sheet is the next piece. With both in front of you, you can compare the options you marked against the key and see how many questions you got right.

Steps to download your OMR sheet

Keep your ID and password ready before you begin.

1.     Open the commission’s website. [https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login]

2.     Log in with your ID and password.

3.     Go to the dashboard option.

4.     Download your OMR sheet and save a copy on your phone or computer.

The website can slow down or even stop working when many candidates log in at the same time. If the page does not load, try again a little later. Do not push this task to the last day.

If your OMR sheet has a mistake

Read your sheet slowly once it is downloaded. Check that the options on it match what you marked in the exam. If you find an error, you can register an objection by sending an email to the Examination Controller, BPSC, on or before 20 October.

[Insert the Examination Controller’s email ID exactly as given in the circular]

The circular allows only this one route. An objection sent through any other medium will not be considered. An objection received after 20 October will not be considered either. In short, there is one method, one deadline and one process.

Keep your downloaded sheet safe. If any issue comes up later, it is your own record of what the commission gave you.

What the circular does not say

The circular, as read out in the source, gives no result date. Until the commission announces one, treat the OMR check as your own verification step and keep an eye on the official website for further notices.

An honest count of your correct answers also shows where you stand for the APO Exam, whatever the outcome turns out to be.
